Objects made slowly

Orah Home began with a simple preference: fewer things, chosen well. We work with small workshops across India — potters, weavers, woodturners and metalsmiths — and ask for one thing above all, that a piece should still feel right in ten years.

Every object here is made in modest quantities. Glazes vary between firings, linen softens differently with each wash, and brass takes on its own patina. We think of these as marks of a life lived with the piece, not flaws.

We ship across India, and we answer every message ourselves. If something arrives less than perfect, write to us and we will make it right.
